# treatlink

> treatlink is a Mannheim, Germany based precision-oncology company uncovering the unique molecular "biosignature" of individual tumors to make highly lethal cancers treatable. It combines extensive high-performance multi-omics analytics with latest-generation AI, starting with Glioblastoma (GBM) before transferring the approach to other lethal cancers.

## What treatlink does

Many highly lethal cancers remain incurable despite modern, biomarker-based precision oncology. treatlink's thesis is that these tumors cannot be defined by single biomarkers; they require determining the patient-specific **biosignature** — a complex, multi-dimensional pattern of multi-omics and clinical data that goes far beyond single biomarkers.

The approach: generate a unique, proprietary dataset by integrating novel multi-omics assays with clinical data, use it to train a high-performance AI model, and apply model-based patient stratification to raise the success rate of clinical trials and improve the development of new (combination) therapies.

treatlink starts with **Glioblastoma (GBM)**, a WHO Grade 4 malignant brain tumor and one of the deadliest cancers known — median survival ~12–15 months, fewer than 6% of patients alive after 3 years. Over ~25 years, ~1,000 clinical trials tested ~350 entities and therapy concepts for GBM, with less than 1% approved. Once established, the approach is intended to transfer to other highly lethal cancers such as pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
